Description

Our reinvention of a traditional stout.

Our core range wouldn’t be complete without a beautiful stout. Born out of London the stout has been a staple beer in the drinking culture of this fantastic city and our Hoxton Stout doesn’t hold back when leaving its footprint on the great stouts that came before it.

Delicious

Considering Redchurch are not local brewers to me, due to their excellent service, friendly staff and most importantly fantastic range in products they have made me a loyal customer for some time now.
I have tried all the beers in the range and have never been disappointed. I do like dark beers but usually drink light citrus beers. Then a met the delightful Hoxton (and its stronger big brother Old Ford) very easy drinking and unlike many stouts suits drinking cold on a hot day or room temp throughout the Winter. I have purchased a good few cases and not bored with this at all.
Price is great too, highly recommend.

Hoxton Stout

This is a beautiful stout. Not heavy, but with a lovely dark roasted malty taste. Perfect for those dark winter evenings.

Delightful

Never really thought I would like stout but tried this and really liked it, very strong taste, but still easy to drink.

A great session stout and warming one off at the end of the day

Back before lockdown I enjoyed a playing regular sessions with other musicians on the professional and amateur circuits - and on a long gig with perhaps an hour or so's drive home I've found a drop of the black stuff to be the perfect lubrication for the evening's entertainment. One pint at the start of the gig and one at the break meant that driving home would not incur the wrath of the 'blues and twos'. Now that I've discovered this wonderful stout from Redchurch, the same can be said of an evenings drinking at home. It has a beautiful 'biscuity' nose and creamy mouthfeel with the same satisfying flavours of a good irish stout - warming and complex without being challenging. This stout should win armfuls of awards and be better and wider known - but perhaps its nice to have little secrets still ;-)
